Annual Report

The Montana Board of Investments (Board) is honored to submit its Annual Report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009. This report, required by law, discloses investment performance for the past fiscal year, summarizes the in-state investment activities of the Board, and provides public access to audited financial statements. Unless otherwise noted, all references to years in this report are state fiscal years beginning July 1 and ending June 30.

Historically, the Board has issued a separate financial statement for each investment pool. Beginning with Fiscal 2007, the Board issued a “consolidated” financial statement for all seven investment pools. The consolidated statement is more user-friendly and provides a more comprehensive view of total pool assets.
